The Subdelegate of the Government of Ávila, Fernando Galeano, said on Tuesday that “two workers of the Brieva prison have been investigated by the Civil Guard of the Avila Command. Both for the alleged commission of a crime of bribery, consisting of providing a favor treatment to an internal prison in exchange for receiving sexual favors by the same. In this way, he confirmed about the situation of the murderer of, Ana Julia Quezada, in the center where his conviction to permanent reviewable prison is fulfilled. The information, based on the investigation proceedings of the Court number 4 of Ávila, collected some of the testimonies that have served to know the irregularities that are allegedly taking place in the aforementioned Penitentiary Center of Women, which has about 70 inmates.
