David Gamble, head of the entourage, approached this Thursday (6.MAI.2025) measures against organized crime; Counselor spoke of taxes
Members of the United States entourage met with Brazilian congressmen this Thursday (6.MAI.2025). The group’s head, the sanction coordinator, David Gamble, was in the senator’s office (MDB-SE) to address organized crime combat cooperation measures.
“It was a working meeting focused on mechanisms to combat transnational criminal organizations and how the United States can contribute to Brazil and vice versa”Said the senator, who was a Civil Police delegate.
At the same time, in the House of Representatives, Ricardo Pita, advisor to the Western Hemisphere Secretariat of Affairs, met with the president of CREDN (Foreign Relations and National Defense Commission), (Pl-pr).
Barros articulated the meeting to talk about the tariffs imposed by the government of President Donald Trump (Republican) to Brazilian imports – fixed at 10% in early April.
Pita was also with the senator (PL-RJ) and federal deputy Paulo Bilynskij (PL-SP) on Monday (5.MAI) to deal with the fight against criminal organizations. Both are the presidents of the Senate and House Public Security Commissions, respectively.
