US President Donald Trump signed a executive order on Monday that aims to reduce regulatory barriers to the manufacture of pharmaceutical products in the country.
Trump’s Order guides Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to improve the supervision and communication of the source of active pharmaceutical ingredients by foreign producers and to consider the possibility of publicly displaying a list of non -compliance facilities.
The Republican also signed other executive orders, such as the one with Small Business Week, the month of mental health and prevention of hurricanes for 2025.
The president should also make an announcement next week “related to drug costs” and reiterated that he will travel to Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar in the middle of the month.
