Video: Garbage collectors are attacked by Pitbull in Paraná

One Pitbull dog attached two men who were collecting garbage in the city of Ponta Grossalocated in the interior of Paraná. The episode took place last Wednesday (30), and was caught by a security camera of the truck intended for collection, which shows the two workers trying to contain the animal.

In the video it is possible to observe the collector by removing the garbage bags, when the dog advances and attacks the man. After a while, another victim’s colleague appears and tries to help him. See below:

According to the police report and according to the delegate responsible for the investigation, Fernando Henrique Ribeiro Vieira, the victims were heard and sent for the examination of the crime. In addition, witnesses were summoned to testify about the case.

According to the Paraná Civil Police (PCPR), the animal tutor will give testimony in the coming days and will be responsible for the crime of guilty bodily injury. The penalty of the crime varies between two months to a year in prison, in addition to the application of a fine due to the lack of care for the dog.

PCPR stresses that it is the duty of tutors to ensure third party safety and the responsible guard of races with high offensive potential, such as Pitbull, preventing cases like this from occurring again.

Investigations are ongoing to complete the facts and accountability of the owner of the animal.
