Chinese President Si Jin-Pching on Wednesday traveled to Moscow for a three-day visit, which includes participation in a military examination on the day of victory in Moscow, also perceived as a sign of support to Russian President Vladimir Putin, informs TASR referring to AFP.

AFP recalled that a few weeks before Putin in February 2022 issued an order to start the offensive in Ukraine, Moscow and Beijing declared their “partnership without borders”. These widespread military and business links are concerned about the West, the agency added.

Tensions between China and the USA

The visit of the Chinese President in Russia comes at a time of rising tensions between China and the US because of US trade tariffs, but also in a situation where US President Donald Trump’s administration is trying to convey a war to the war in Ukraine.

In this more than three years of war conflict, China presents itself as a neutral party, although the Western governments claim that its close ties with Russia have provided Moscow with key economic and diplomatic support.

Allegations against China

In April, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Greeding in April accused China of the supply of weapons to Russia and claimed that Beijing knows at least 155 Chinese citizens fighting in Ukraine alongside Russian troops.

Beijing, however, denied that Russia would in bulkly recruited Chinese citizens, which – on the contrary – called on not to engage in conflicts. China also rejected the claims that any of the parties in the war supplies weapons.

Si Jin-Pching about friendship

In the article for the Russian newspaper Rossijskaya Gazeta, which was published on Wednesday, Jin-Pching recalled that “a deep and eternal friendship between China and Russia … It is obscured by blood and lives in World War II against fascism.”

According to Siho, in the current situation, “the world must … to draw wisdom and power from the lesson of World War II and the great victory of the World Anti -Fascist War, decides to oppose all forms of hegemony and power politics and together to create a lighter future for humanity.”

“Both parties should, together, prevent any attempt to intervene and undermine Chinese-Russian friendship and mutual trust …, they should take advantage of the certainty and resilience of China’s Strategic cooperation to jointly support the process of world multipolarization and community building with a common future for humanity,” he suggested in the article.

Bilateral meeting in Moscow

The day before, the Kremlin described the relations between Russia and China as a “real example” of cooperation. According to Kremlin Putin and Si Jin-Pching, they will have a bilateral meeting in Moscow to discuss Ukraine and relations between Russia and the US.
