Criciuma announced the resignation of coach Zé Ricardo on Tuesday (6). The shutdown happens after the defeat to Chapecoense by Serie B on Sunday (4).
“Criciúma announces the closure of the professional activities of coach Zé Ricardo and his assistant Celso Martins. We thank the delivery and commitment to the club, and also for all efforts in search of our goals. We wish much success in the next challenges of their careers,” wrote the club in an official statement.
Zé Ricardo’s trajectory at Tigre has nine wins in 21 matches played by Criciúma. At the moment, the team is close to the relegation zone for Serie C of Brasileirão, in 15th place.
