Deputies want revenue to share data with ANP – 07/05/2025 – Panel

Presidents of three parliamentary fronts filed a project to determine that it will share it with (National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels) invoices issued by an attempt to combat market fraud.

The initiative was after a failed expectation of parliamentarians that this sharing was a decree published on April 17 by the Ministry of Mines and Energy on the Supervision of Compliance with.

The project is signed by the presidents of FPBio (Biodiesel), Alceu Moreira (MDB-RS), FPA (Agriculture), Pedro Lupion (PP-PR), and the Parliamentary Front of Ethanol, Zé Vitor (PL-MG), as well as by the Rapporteur of Fuel Fuel Law, Arnaldo Jardim (Citizenship-SP).

In justification, parliamentarians state that the text establishes a specific hypothesis of access to tax information for the purpose of supervision and regulation of the fuel sector. “Access to electronic invoices will allow ANP to accurately and speed the agents who operate in accordance with the legislation, reducing the inspection costs that currently fall on those who act correctly,” they say.

For the deputies, the bill allows the efficient cross -data between production volume, commercialization and taxation, which facilitates the identification of inconsistencies that signal fuel tampering, tax evasion and other illicit practices that harm the market and consumers.

“Access to tax information will level the field of competition in the sector, eliminating artificial competitive advantages obtained by agents who operate irregularly, thus ensuring equitable competition conditions.”
