Until recently, Bidet was considered a luxury that belongs to bathrooms in Italy, France or Japan. In recent years, however, it has been slowly becoming a common part of Czech households. It is due to the desire for higher comfort, better hygiene and interest in modern and sustainable ways of body care.

Bidet is a common part of the bathroom in many countries, especially in southern Europe, Asia or South America, where it is considered the standard of personal hygiene. In our country he was perceived for a long time as an unnecessary supplement or even as a curiosity, but that begins to change. With increasing emphasis on cleanliness, comfort and ecology, the bidet finds the way to Czech households, whether in the form of a separate facility, toilet extension or modern showers. Previously, the symbol of luxury becomes a practical helper, which will be appreciated by the whole family.

Goodbye to toilet paper

The use of toilet paper has a long tradition, but it is a less effective way of hygiene compared to water. The paper will remove some of the dirt, but it will not ensure complete cleaning, even if you really care. On the contrary, the water stream can cleanse the skin more thoroughly, more gently and without unnecessary friction. In addition, toilet paper often irritates the skin and can cause irritation or even hemorrhoids. Especially if you use it frequently and in larger quantities. Bidet is a much more gentle choice in this respect, water does not damage the skin and at the same time provides a sense of greater purity.

Another important factor is hand hygiene. After using toilet paper, a thorough washing of the hands is a necessity, yet many people still underestimate it. For bidet, there is usually no direct contact with his hands at all. The water stream will do everything for you by simply turning the driver or pressing the button. In addition, modern bidet attachments are easily installed directly on a regular toilet, so there is no need to purchase a separate device. This non -touch and comfortable form of cleansing is also extremely suitable for women during menstruation, seniors, or people with limited mobility.

Bidet represents a modern alternative that is not only about comfort, but also about health and sustainability. Water consumption in one use is minimal, roughly one cup, while the production of toilet paper burden the environment millions of felled trees annually. The transition to this water hygiene is therefore not only more pleasant, but also more considerate to nature. And what is the best? You don’t have to rebuild the bathroom! A simple bidet attachment can be attached to almost every toilet.
