Fight against hate on the net remains “challenge”

The EU Digital Services Act (DSA) is intended to make digital services strict specifications and limit online hatred. “The DSA is a spark of hope,” said Johanna Eteme, head of department for “basic and human rights matters” in the Interior Ministry (BMI), on Tuesday at an information event by the regulatory authority KommaUtria in Vienna. “Hate Speech is a huge challenge,” she admitted, at the same time, there were no real solutions for this.
