Do the planets of our solar system feel like we cold and hot at different times of the year? The answer is on the axis of rotation.
There are 4 stations on Earth, which alternate at the North Pole and the South Pole. And in other countries?
The answer is yes – but some of them undergo more changes than others, explains.
“The earth has its four stations due to the slope of the axis of rotation,” explains the astronoma Gongjie Li. The climate is changing as the entire orbit of the earth moves away or approaches the sun.
And we are lucky: our planet rotates at a light angle of about 23.5 degrees. Already in Uranusfor example, the same cannot be said.
This distant planet has an axis with 90 degree slopeso either the poles are completely facing the sun or not at all. The result? Hell or cold completely cold heat.
In Mercury, for example, orbit is also “eccentric”, explains the scientist, so there are large variations in temperature. Already our red neighbor, Mars, has a slight 25 degree slope, similar to ours, So when you can tell you one of your coats to winter and a Bikini to summer. Should adapt easily. But this is totally by chance: Mars’s inclination ranged from 10 to 40 degrees over thousands of millions of years.
Scientists like Li are now studying planetary conditions and seasonal changes in exoplanets to try to understand if life could exist in distant worlds.
