An aesthetic intervention made by Turkish surgeon Ferda Erol is giving to talk about social networks. The video of before and after a rhinoplasty, published in April 2025, became viral, adding over 34 million views. The transformation divided opinions: Many netizens consider that the patient’s original nose was already quite harmonious, criticizing the end result because it seems excessively artificial.
In the face of controversy, Ferda Erol public clarified that the procedure was done at the request of the patient herself, who wanted a “Barbie nose” – small, bent and upheld. The surgeon, who performs thousands of operations per year and has a vast international clientele, ensured that the patient was very pleased with the result and that negative comments reflect only different personal preferences.
