New developments in the disappearance case of a hard drive found at the home of Christian Brickner, the main suspect, contains evidence that the girl is dead.
The material – which had never been made public so far – is described by the authorities as “deeply alarming” and indicates Brickner’s obsession with young children.
Among the items found in his abandoned house, an old factory bought for £ 20,000 in 2008 were children’s clothing, toys, masks, chemicals and weapons.
German police, Times, insists that it has natural but not forensic evidence that Madeleine has died and are reluctant to recite Brickner without forensic evidence they consider necessary for a conviction.
Madeleine was three years old when she disappeared from a tourist complex in Pratia Da Luz, Portugal in 2007. Pictures of child abuse are also said to have been linked to Brickner during investigations, while police officers found a four -year -old girl’s suitcase. More than 75 children’s swimwear, toys and small bicycles were also found.
In October last year, against five girls and women, a development was a major blow to researchers in the Madeleine case.
Pedophile conversations
The discovery of the new evidence was accidental in 2016, when a dog led police to a suspected tomb on Brickner’s ownership. Local authorities found Brickner’s dead dog, and from below they discovered a wallet containing six USBs and two memory cards with worrying material.
So 100 police officers began a complete investigation into the band at Neuwegersleben, Central Germany, where Brickner’s writings were found to describe his insistence on kidnapping children.
Skype conversations were also recorded with other pedophiles. In one of them, Brickner allegedly said he wanted to “grab something small and use it for days”. German prosecutors are convinced that 47 -year -old Brickner, a serial criminal with a history of rape and sexual abuse, grabbed Madeleine from her parents’ rented apartment in 2007.
