The mayor (MDB) appointed, on Wednesday (7), the businessman Vitor Cavalcanti de Arruda to assume the executive secretary of food and nutritional security. The appointment was published in the Official Gazette of the Municipality.
He will be responsible, among other functions, for managing the Solidarity Warehouse, one of the city’s flags.
Arruda replaces Carlos Eduardo Batista Fernandes, who was while during Nunes’ trip to Asia – the mayor was not consulted about the dismissal.
Arruda is friends with Nunes, according to the mayor’s allies. Earlier, he served as Deputy Executive Secretary of Subprefectures.
Entrepreneur, Arruda also owns the CompanyGraf graphics, which is included in the list of debtors of PGFN (Attorney General of the National Treasury) with debt of about $ 12.3 million in taxes, as stated on the agency’s website. Companygraf is headquartered in Interlagos, south of the capital.
The panel sought the city to know if there is knowledge of the debt, but did not get a return until the publication of the text.
The column also questioned Arruda about the debt with PGFN, but unanswered.
