Rodrigo Hilbert, 45, had to do a hurry surgery in Cape Town in South Africa after falling by bicycle during a race.
The presenter was participating in the largest Moutain Bike marathon in the world and recording a story for spectacular sport.
The test, called Cape Epic, is an eight -day ultramarathon, 650 kilometers long and 16,500 meters of altimetry.
Rodrigo fell on the second day of the race and hit the butt, but continued pedaling. After a few days, however, he began to feel severe pain and had to be attended. The presenter was forced to leave the test and look for a hospital.
After undergoing exams, he was diagnosed with an abscess at the fall site and had to undergo emergency surgery.
According to Globo, Rodrigo is already in Brazil and recovers well. The presenter is married to Fernanda Lima, 47, with whom he has three children.
