The (Federal Supreme Court) accepted the complaint against 21 accused of involvement in the 2022 coup plot to maintain () in the Presidency of the Republic.
There have been three judgments so far. The latest of them occurred on Tuesday (6), when the first class of the court that would be responsible for attacks on institutions, authorities and the electoral system.
Earlier, the collegiate was attempted to coup d’état, which includes Bolsonaro, and another group that would be responsible for managing actions of the coup joint.
Everyone involved were made defendants by the Supreme unanimously. Minister Luiz Fux was the only one, about procedural matters. For him, the cases should not be processed in the first class, but should be sent to the lower instances or the full plenary of the Court.
In his vote on Tuesday, minimums of authorship and materiality to decide whether to receive the complaint. Open the criminal action, it will be up to the Attorney’s Office to present all evidence to confirm the truth of the suspicions.
The defenses deny their customers’ participation in the coup plot and argue, among other points, that the PGR does not bring evidence that wearing the complaint.
