The magistrate asks for key information to the Mazón government about the Flood and Control Plan for Cauces the days before the tragedy

The Judge of Catarroja (Valencia) investigating the Dana, Nuria Ruiz Tobarra, has given a green light to a battery of investigations aimed at the same end: finding out how the government of Carlos Mazón was prepared to combat the catastrophe that on October 29 left 228 dead in Valencia. The magistrate has requested a chain of proceedings to the Cecopi – the emergency agency of the Generalitat that coordinated the crisis – to clarify how the municipalities were alerted – 78 were affected – of the monumental flood.
The instructor asks the Generalitat if, as the flood plan forces, he warned the municipalities on the eve of the imminent risk tragedy to control the river channels, according to a notified car notified on Wednesday.
