The Slovak National Museum has a new director: it was appointed by Minister of Culture Šimkovičová

Andrea Prodejňová became the new General Director of the Slovak National Museum (SNM). She was appointed on Wednesday by the Minister of Culture of the Slovak Republic Martina Šimkovičová (SNS nominee) based on the results of the selection procedure. TASR informed the director of the Communication Department of the Ministry of Culture (MK) of the Slovak Republic Petra Bačinská.

“The selection procedure was made in accordance with the applicable legislation and the principles of transparency with the participation of a professional selection committee,” the spokeswoman said. RAccording to her, the Ezort of Culture believes that the new CEO with her expertise, vision and determined approach will be provided by SNM modern and value -anchored development.

The management of the MK thanked the authorized statutory representative Tomáš Bodó for the management of the institution during the transitional period.
