The president of the National Institute of Social Security (), said that the agency is communicating on Thursday (8), to 27 million Brazilians who have not suffered any associative discount. Communication is being done solely and exclusively through “my INSS”. “We are leaving 27 million quiet, as well as their families, who have never had a associative discount. This is the first step and is happening today, at this time,” he said at a press conference on Thursday at the Planalto Palace to give updating the operation without discount.
According to him, next Tuesday (13), the INSS will release another information, but directed to Brazilians who had some associative discount. “They will be informed,” adding that such a statement will also be made by the “My INSS” platform. “Do not open emails, WhatsApp messages, SMS. INSS does not communicate with you for any means other than ‘my INSS’,” he emphasized.
Waller stated that the day after such communication, next Wednesday (14), will be available two channels for the person to have information about which association had a discount and what value discounted. Then the beneficiary may inform whether or not to recognize the associative discount. By saying that it does not agree with the discount, the beneficiary will inform the non -recognition. “You don’t have to fill anything, just click,” he explained.
After that, the system will automatically generate a charge for the association. “The INSS will defend the citizen before the association, informing that the beneficiary does not recognize the payment.”
