The Israeli army announced Thursday that, in the last 72 hours, its Air Force carried out more than 150 attacks in the Gaza Strip, directed against “terrorist cells, underground infrastructure and military structures used by combatants,” according to an official statement issued this Thursday. As confirmed by medical sources to EFE, Wednesday’s attacks killed at least 105 Gazati, including children, in different parts of the devastated strip. The offensive concentrated especially in the northern area, where 79 people lost their lives after bombing directed against schools, a market and a restaurant. On these bombings, the Army told Efe that “they took numerous measures to mitigate the risk of damaging unleashed civilians” and that yesterday attacked “two key terrorists of Hamas.” Israel also reported an attack in the Deir Al Balah area, in the center of Gaza, in which, according to the report, they killed Nasr Sobhi Ibrahim Jumaa, commander responsible for the production of rockets of the Islamist organization Hamás.
