Baked feta with vegetable accessories can be a delicious vegetarian meal. Nothing stands in the way to serve it, however, to the meats – both fried, baked and those removed straight from the grill grate.
The salty Greek cheese after removing from the oven literally melts under the pressure of the fork. It will match potatoes or pasta – then a full -bodied and very aromatic dinner will be created. Prepare bread or pita for dinner, where you spread a soft feta cheese.

Ingredients:
- 200 g of feta cheese (in full),
- 1/2 red onion, cut into thin slices,
- 1/2 green pepper, cut into slices,
- a few black olives (without seeds),
- 1/2 cup of cherry tomatoes, cut in half,
- 2 teaspoons of dried oregano,
- 1/2 teaspoon of chili petals,
- 3-4 branches of fresh thyme,
- 203 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil,
- fresh mint for decoration,
- Crunchy bread or drunk to serve.
Method of performance:
Heat the oven to 200 ° C (top-down). In a heat -resistant dish, put slices of onions, peppers, halves of cherry tomatoes and olives in full. Sprinkle with a teaspoon of oregano, chili flakes and part of fresh thyme. Sprinkle everything with 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil and mix gently.
Place the feta cheese block in the middle of the dish. Sprinkle it with the remaining oregano, thyme and sprinkle the rest of olive oil. Put the dish in a preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes until the vegetables are softened and the feta is slightly browned. If you want to get a more toasted cheese surface, you can turn on the grill function for the last 2-3 minutes.
After removing from the oven, decorate the dish with fresh mint leaves. Serve warm with crunchy bread or drunk.
