The second day of the instructional hearing that judges businessman Tarcísio Araújo, denounced for femicide in the case of the death of singer Nayara Vilela, takes place this Friday (9), at the Rio Branco Criminal Forum.
The first witness of the day was the businesswoman Silvia Montenegro, Tarcisio’s colleague for at least 20 years and organizer of their marriage.

Judge Alesson Braz, who conducts the audience, began the interrogation and questioned how Silvia met the couple. The witness said she did not witness fights between them.
“I have known Tarcisio for 20 years, since I started working with events. I was three years since I first saw Nayara on my daughter’s 15th anniversary in May, at the first event that Tarcisio worked in my space. He introduced her as a girlfriend, Nayara,” he said.
“I never saw a fight that first moment. He had the greatest affection for her, asked her for lunch at the party, they were together. I never saw any discussion between the two. We met again, in an event. They already had a project to marry and she remembered to budget with me for the wedding in my space,” he continued.
Silvia said that Tarcisio was very zealous for Nayara’s work and that the artist underwent a great transformation.
“He had the greatest zeal for setting up the sound for her. She was a simple girl, in a simple outfit. Over the months, I saw a gigantic transformation. She became a phenomenon. She was talented, with the help of Tarcisio. He put her into the best events of Rio Branco. The career took off. It was a quick transformation. scored.
Montenegro gave details of how was the wedding day.
“I haven’t pulled either side or the other, even though I met Tarcisio for many years. He did things at this event we have never seen him do. She went to make pictures of the wedding in Sao Paulo. I never saw Tarcisio dance at coming as she did at the wedding. It was a beautiful wedding. Everything she wanted, he never said no. […]. The wedding was beautiful, perfect, exciting, until 5 am, without setback. Her dress was designed by a Rio de Janeiro designer, ”he said.
The judge asked Silvia if she had any contact with the bride’s mother. The businesswoman said that only during the artist’s marriage rehearsals and the artist:
“I didn’t talk to her. What I can say is that, overall, everyone was happy.”
Silvia says that when she learned of the tragedy, she went to the couple’s residence and narrated the scenes she witnessed at Nayara’s wake:
“I never expected such a thing [a morte]. I went to their house as soon as I learned of the news. Once there, there was only one PM car, and Tarcisio was sitting in a chair. I stayed across the street. I didn’t talk to him. On the day of the wake, I went there, hugged him. I didn’t see friction. The only thing I heard was her mother questioning why she [Nayara] I had done that. I saw her son all the time hugged with Tarcisio at the wake. ”
The witness said Nayara even gave up on the wedding days before the ceremony.
“Nayara called me a missing 20 days for the wedding. The call was bad. She was crying and said she wasn’t going to marry Tarcisio, asking to return his money, with the 100% paid event. She said she wasn’t going to marry Tarcisio because she couldn’t take that situation anymore. I told her to calm. Because of his children, that she didn’t want him to talk to her children, that he said that it was bullshit and to wait for her to calm down, because she was nervous, overwhelmed.
“It passed. Two days later, as I had already ordered things, I would have to cancel with people if it weren’t to have marriage. After a few days, they came here, that’s fine. We continued the marriage, normal,” he added.
When questioned by Tarcisio’s defense about the businessman’s behavior with women, Silvia said she never witnessed any act of violence:
“I have never seen. On the contrary, I’ve always seen him treating with a lot of respect.”
The defense went on the scene and asked what Silvia knew about their lives and where she lived. Silvia replied:
“Tarcisio didn’t want to buy that house, he wanted a simpler near the garden. She wanted to because I wanted to. What I know is that he got into debt because of that, that’s what I learned.”
The audience took place virtually, but was transmitted to the press at the Criminal Forum.
