Private e-scooters on bus and train are no longer a rare sight-especially at peak times. But while passengers are pushing themselves, the chunky scooters often block corridors, block door areas or are first parked on the seats. Consideration? Mostly none. And even if you are properly parked in the bicycle storage areas of the trains, take the folding seats where at least 5 people could have sitting. In view of such restrictions in the already scarce room, the question arises whether cities like Hamburg, where e-scooters are prohibited in subways for safety reasons, can serve as a model here. Overreaction on my part – or does that also bother you?
