In Moscow, Robert Fico honored the memory of fallen soldiers by placing flowers on the grave of an unknown soldier.
Prime Minister Robert Fico on Friday after a military parade in Moscow on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II in Europe honored the memory of the fallen in the struggles by placing flowers on the grave of an unknown soldier in Alexandrovsky Orchard near the walls of the Kremlin. He did so along with other leaders present. The Prime Minister informed about it on Facebook, writes TASR.
“Part of the celebration of the victory over fascism was to put flowers on the grave of an unknown soldier at the Kremlin Walls as an expression of respect for all soldiers.
Slovakia next to the great powers
According to Fico, Slovakia has been a visit to Moscow “beside the world’s great powers as an equal and recognized partner, mainly because of his clear, readable attitudes and value anchorage”. According to the Prime Minister, one of the pillars of Slovak modern statehood is “a clear anti -fascist tradition we are rightly proud of”.
Foreign delegations previously attended a military parade on the Red Square, where more than 11,500 members of the Russian armed and security forces – the Russian army, the Federal Security Service, the Russian Federal Guard and the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as well as representatives of armies of 13 friend States – were defiled.
