Robert Fico met Serbian President Vučič in Moscow

Both arrived in the Russian capital to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučič met Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico on Thursday evening in Moscow, reports TASR according to the Serbian portal Novosti.rs.

Fico arrived in Moscow on Thursday evening. The government’s special squadron of the Ministry of Interior of the Slovak Republic to Moscow flew through Hungary, Romania, over the Black Sea and Georgia due to the failure to fly over the Baltic countries of Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia.

Vučič arrived in the Russian capital a day earlier. On the occasion of the meeting with Fico, the Serbian President wrote on his account on the Instagram platform: “The fraternal meeting with Prime Minister Robert Fico tonight in Moscow. Serbs and Slovaks, brothers forever!” He also posted a photo of which he and Fico shakes his hand.

During his visit to Moscow, the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic should attend bilateral negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Si Jin-Pching, Brazilian President Luizo Luizi Lulva and Vietnam.

Novosti quoted Vučič, who said that the leaders met on a joint gala dinner on Thursday evening, organized by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
