During the ceremony, Colonel Ulysses reaffirmed his commitment to investments in the sector. “The Penal Police play an essential role in the criminal justice system. It is the one who deals directly with the imprisonment and discipline of prisoners. Valuing and qualifying these professionals is to strengthen the base of security in Acre,” said the deputy.

The parliamentarian also recalled that his mandate has been guided by a firm performance for security forces. “There is no public safety without investment, without structure and without recognition. Our struggle is constant to guarantee resources, training and decent working conditions to our agents,” he said.

Colonel Ulysses also thanked the commitment and union of state security institutions, reinforcing the importance of integration between forces as a path to more effective results in combating crime.
