“We celebrate victory day as we conducted the special military operation. Those who are in the front fronts are our heroes.” A year ago on May 9, Putin spelled out the new meaning of the celebration of Nazi surrender of 1945: according to Kremlin’s propaganda, Ukraine “neo -Nazi” represents the reincarnation of Hitler’s Germany and the War of Conquest is the resumption of the Soviet epic saga in World War II. Lula’s presence in Red Square expresses the solidarity of the Brazilian government to the Russian invasion.
