The Pope is committed to following Francisco's "valuable heritage", with the care of the weak and brave dialogue

Pope Leo XIV has made a commitment to follow Francisco’s “valuable heritage” and stressed the importance of “love care of the weak” and the “brave and confident dialogue with the contemporary world.”

The new Pontiff has made these considerations in an encounter with the cardinals present in Vatican after the conclave that last Thursday chose him as 267 pontiffs of the Catholic Church.

In addition, he has also asked the high -ranking clergymen who were present to renew their commitment to the important reforms of the Church promulgated by the historic Second Vatican Council in the 1960s.
