Accident happened on Saturday night, and the causes are not yet known. Car was out of the Gilão River.
Four young people aged 15 and 18 died on Saturday in a Failure from a light car on the Gilão RiverIn Tavira, Algarve, today told GNR source to Lusa.
Authorities were aware of the accident at 10:19 pm on Saturday, whose causes are now being investigated by the GNR Traffic Accident Criminal Investigation Center, according to Major Naseer Zidane, a service officer at the GNR National Integrated Operational Management Center.
The victims, two of Portuguese nationality and the remaining German nationality, had ages between 15 and 18 years: One of them was 18 years old, another 16 and the other two 15 years.
The causes of the accident are not yet known, being investigated by the GNR Criminal Criminal Accident Investigation Center (NICAV).
A vehicle fell into the Gilão River, In Tavira, Algarve, from which the car was removed with the occupants inside.
The victims were transported to the Faro Hospital Forensic Medicine Office, the same source said. According to the accident, there were 21 operational and 11 GNR vehicles and Tavira Municipal Firefighters.
