At the beginning of the week, an unpleasant phenomenon will be returned: SHMI issued a warning for most Slovakia!

During the night for Monday (12.5), ground frost can again appear in most of Slovakia. The Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMI) issued a warning with effect from midnight to 07.00, not only for the Nitra region and most districts of the Banská Bystrica region.

SHMI on the web specified that the temperature could drop just above the surface at night and early in the morning to minus four, in the north to minus five degrees Celsius. Meteorologists also warn from frost, which can harm vegetation, even for the night from Monday to Tuesday (13 May), the alert is not only concerned with the southwest and south of central Slovakia.
