Citizenship is currently federated to the PSDB, but has warned that it intends to undo the marriage. Legally, this can only occur in March next year, however.
“The PSB has a history very close to ours, we have a long journey relationship. We are having initial conversations about a federation and Brazil more generally,” said Bittencourt.
According to him, there is no deadline for negotiations to be defined. “The party has intensely debated this issue. We hope to have an indication at the June executive meeting to the path we are going to adopt. We are maturing, but I welcome this possibility,” he said.
