In the case of a transaction tax, there are no concrete proposals on the table in the coalition. Any technical deficiencies of this tax will be addressed, but if the coalition partners have their ideas to change it, they must say how to compensate for any outages. This was stated on Sunday at a press conference Prime Minister and chairman of the strongest coalition party Smer-SD Robert Fico.

In his own words, it is not one of the people who immediately refuse everything. “I am ready to negotiate, I am ready to see those suggestions. If these suggestions can be compensated, we will find a solution somewhere, so we can do it,” He advised Fico.

In connection with the criticism of transaction tax on the CIS coalition partners and voice-SD, he reiterated its view that It is not nice to vote for something and change their opinion after critical articles in the media.

“I do not like the transaction tax. But I do not like how to pumped public finances. If we want to have healthy public finances, sometimes we must also take unpopular decisions of such a nature,” The Prime Minister stressed that the worst public finances in the EU are the previous governments.
