Headphones often go through a lot, they are lowered, thrown into a purse or pocket, and all this can make them get dirty more. This equipment is useful, but not cleaned can be a big problem and even contribute to infection.
Some manufacturers recommend specific methods of cleaning headphones – in this case, it is worth noting in accordance with their instructions, because non -compliance with these rules and e.g. flooding headphones may end in the fact that despite the guarantee, the complaint will not be taken into account. However, in most cases, a good option is to buy a special headphone cleaning kitwe find in them tools for removing wax and special brushes that will allow you to get rid of earwax and other dirt on the headphone mesh. Such a set can be bought for a dozen or so zlotys.
Headphones should not be soaked in any cleaning solution – even if they are advertised as waterproofsuch action will often destroy the equipment or strongly worsen its operation. If we want to use the preparation to clean the housing, then a gently soaked swab is enough.
In the case of earphones, it is not recommended to use cleaning wipes (especially containing alcohol), they can scratch the housing or damage the outer, soft overlay. The caps are much better to wipe with a cotton swab in water with a delicate liquid, e.g. into dishes.
