To open an Urban Motion franchise you need to invest about $ 1.5 million with the necessary work, another $ 500,000 of operating cash flow. According to the CEO, from the 6th month, the operation is already paid alone. “Within 1 to 2 years, the franchisee has already received the money back”.
As for the success of the business, Jimmy Peixoto stated that the pandemic period was very difficult and he had to close two stores. He saw, however, that the moment was complicated for everyone and the product supply chain for the company also suffered and could not deliver what was needed. With this, Jimmy created his own company, which provided the products to the trampoline company. The food and toys part, for example, is from the company itself today.
Regarding the technologies used by Urban Motion, the CEO stated that “A product of scale is impossible not to enjoy technology”. The product on scale that the company delivers are children’s birthday parties. According to Jimmy, to climb this type of event you need to use artificial intelligence and not just a call center simple.
The company, however, agrees that there is a time when it is necessary to have a human to actually close the deal: “The end of the funnel is human. The middle of the funnel is artificial intelligence to be able to facilitate this work”.
