An accident involving a car and a trailer left a dead and an injured in the Midwest Mineiro. The collision took place on BR-354, in kilometer 492, near the radar of the “death curve”, between the cities of Arcos and Ant.
The place is known by the popular name of “Curve da Death” as a closed, dangerous curve and recurrent accident records.
The firefighters were fired around 8:25 am on Monday (12). At the scene, the rescue teams found two victims.
The first, a 51 -year -old passenger, was already out of the car, conscious, with pain in the hip region, chest and abdomen, as well as presenting various abrasions.
After evaluation and immobilization, the victim was passed on to the team of the Advanced Support Unit, being sent to the Formiga Emergency Care Unit (UPA)
The second victim, the 23 -year -old driver, was stuck in the hardware. The rescue team immediately started the work. After the withdrawal, Samu’s medical team found the death on site. The victim had polytrauma, otorrhagia and mydriasis.
Due to the severity of the collision, it was necessary to complete the highway in both directions to ensure safety. Oil leakage on the track. Sawdust was used to avoid further accidents.
The Military Highway Police were present to adopt the measures related to the traffic accident. The driver of the trailer involved came out unharmed.
