An idea for a delicious dinner. Potato cutlets with meat stuffing

Potato cutlets with meat stuffing It’s a great way to use potatoes remaining after yesterday’s dinner. Of course, you can also make them from freshly cooked potatoes. Served with the addition of vegetable salad, they are a full -fledged, filling dinner.

To prepare this dish, you will need:

  • 500 g of potatoes (after peeling),
  • about 3 tablespoons of potato starch,
  • 1 egg,
  • 300 g of minced meat,
  • 1 onion,
  • 1-2 cloves of garlic,
  • 1 teaspoon of marjoram,
  • salt, pepper (to taste),
  • vegetable oil (for frying),
  • wheat flour (for coating chops).

You can also serve such potato-mushroom cutlets garlic sauce. You will make it from a combination of yogurt, garlic squeezed by Prague, chopped dill, salt and pepper.

Peel the potatoes and cook until tender in lightly salted water or measure the right amount of potatoes from the previous dinner.

Crush potatoes on purée (if they are no longer crushed). Combine them with egg and starch. The product for a smooth cake, which will be plastic, and at the same time will not stick to your hands. Cover the consistency of the dough with the amount of flour. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Put on the stuffing.

Peel and chop the onion and garlic finely. Fry the onion with a small amount of oil. Add garlic to the pan, and after a while – minced meat.

Fry the meat, stirring it from time to time. At the end, season with salt, pepper and marjoram.

Form a thick roller from the potato dough and cut it into equal portions (the size of the medium mandarin). Flash each portion in your hands on the pancake and apply a portion of stuffing on it. Seal the stuffing in the dough, forming oval chops. Wrap them in flour.

Heat oil in a clean frying pan. Fry gold -color cutlets on it – about 2 minutes on each side. Put the fried cutlets on a paper towel so that it absorbs excess fat.
