Report of the OAS (Organization of American States) shows that 58 of the objectives were partially fulfilled by 2024
Brazil fulfilled only 7 DD 98 recommendations of the Inter -American Commission on Human Rights in 2024. The data were presented in a report by (Organization of American States) released on May 8.
The recommendations were made in 2021. Although bass, the balance of objectives met in 2024 is still over 2023, when none was fully achieved.
The data show that 58 recommendations were fulfilled “partial” or “Substantial partial”. In 1 year, 4 categories that were in this classification advanced for total execution.

Linked to the OAS, the Inter -American Commission on Human Rights works in the promotion and defense of human rights in America, focusing on historically discriminated groups.
Minister of, Macaé Evaristo, declared that the candidacy of Fábio de Sá e Silva to the commission is “Especially relevant” for the defense of democracy on the continent.
The collegiate has 7 commissioners with 4 -year terms, being allowed a reelection. Currently, it does not have Brazilians among its members.
