Crater that had emerged a month ago on the central runway of Marginal Tietê, near the departure of the Bandeirantes Highway, opened again at dawn on Sunday (11)

A new crater appeared at Sao Paulo, on Sunday morning (11), in the same area that had already had problems a month earlier, on April 10. The (Traffic Engineering Company) made the decision to completely ban the central track towards Castelo Branco, approximately 300 meters from the Atílio Fontana Bridge.

Drivers still have the option of using the local and express clues of Marginal Tietê, but CET advises them to avoid this area during the period of the works. To inform drivers on the interdiction, Variable Message Panels (PMVs) were installed in the region.

For those who need to go towards the Castelo Branco Highway and Marginal Pinheiros, CET suggests the use of alternative routes, especially by Lapa. Sabesp is present at the site to evaluate the situation of the structure and determine the necessary interventions, and so far, there are no records of accidents related to the incident.
