The works to repair the, in the direction Castello Branco, have forecast to last 30 daysaccording to Sabesp (Basic Sanitation Company of the State of São Paulo), responsible for the intervention.
According to Sabesp, the reopening of the hole, located near the exit to the Bandeirantes Highway, occurred due to an overload on the sewage networks caused by heavy rains that hit the northern part of the city last Saturday (10).
Sabesp said technical teams are already working on site to find a definitive solution to the problem. The intervention will require the interdiction of central lane lanes during the period of the works. Initially, three tracks were blocked for traffic.
According to the Traffic Engineering Company (CET), there is a total interdiction of the Central Tietê central lane in the Castelo Branco direction, at the time of leaving the Bandeirantes Highway, 300 meters before the Atílio Fontana Bridge.

CET advises that drivers to the Castelo Branco and Marginal Pinheiros highway use the Lapa region, following the bridge of the Parish of Ó, Av. Ermano Marchetti, Nossa Senhora da Lapa Street, Pio XI Street, Cerro Corá Avenue, Queiroz Filho and Ponte do Jaguaré.
According to CET, agents of the company help in the flow of traffic from the Aricanduva Bridge, but the recommendation is to avoid the marginal in this stretch while the works last.
“The occurrence is being informed to drivers in the variable messaging panels (PMVs) arranged towards Marginal Tietê Castelo Branco direction, from access to major highways. In addition, PMVs on Salim Farah Maluf and Aricanduva avenues also warn drivers that there is interference on the central track,” says Cet.

On April 10, a crater was opened on the central track of Marginal Tietê at the same time and in the same direction as the road, which was partially banned.
