Deployment of drones of Ukrainian intelligence to rescue poisoned soldiers: "It was hell"

In the front of Zaporiyia, between toxic gases and crossfire, Three military from Ukraine To those who had captured the Russian soldiers have managed to escape from their captors thanks to a rescue operation as risky as surgical. The maneuver, which was executed with drones of the Ukrainian military intelligence in a place and date that could not be verified was “a hell”, according to the story of one of the survivors that can be read in the newspaper . It is not for less: they were released injured and under the effects of an unknown poison.

It all started when three members (Ketz, Anubis and Klyuchyk) of the “Artan X” unit, a special operations group of the Ukrainian army, infiltrated a area controlled by Russia to locate a military detachment and, if the occasion arose, interfere in its operation. However, when they advanced through enemy territory following the established route, they gave themselves from Bruces with a group of Russian soldiers with which they did not count. The clash resulted in a melee fight in which the Russians used a chemical agent that left the three out of combat.

From there, the Russians retired taking the prisoners towards their lines, not knowing that the Ukrainian recognition drones followed all their movements from the air. When the Russian group reached an area with coverage, the commander of “Artan X”, alias favorit, ordered to launch Kamikaze drones. The first attack killed one of the captors and opened an opportunity that Ketz took the opportunity to crawl to a ruined building and hide in the rubble.

“It was hell! I had the burning chest of the gas with which they poisoned us. When our FPV drones arrived (First Person View), it was incredible. I am grateful to my brothers for not leaving us lying down,” Ketz said. The Ukrainian intelligence service collected its testimony and spread a video of the operation, although it did not specify when it took place exactly. However, Kyiv Post has not been able to verify the place or the date of the images.

The drones continued the attack. One of the Russian soldiers tried to hide under an abandoned truck, but an FPV slipped below and exploded in the spot. After eliminating the captors, a recognition drone assumed control of the operation and guided the two survivors following the instructions of the favorit commander. On the radio, the Ukrainian units warned their own: “They are ours, they are ours. Do not shoot.”

Ketz and his partner crossed running an open area while the operators marked their rhythm from the cameras. The third captured managed to return by his own means hours later. The three returned with seized Russian weapons, sensitive information and chemical burns for which they are being treated.

After the operation, Favorit spared no praise. “These epic stories upload morality. What the art operators of Artan and the rest of the security and defense forces did was another level. Pure mastery. We will fight for ours until the end.”

And it was not an isolated case. At the end of April, drones of the Ukrainian army and the border guards released three other soldiers who were escorted by Russian troops. A precise explosion unleashed chaos and allowed prisoners to follow the guide drone to friendly territory. And in January, a unit of the 95th Airborne Brigade rescued a military guiding him with the lights of a drone. The operator, aka Kevin, even launched a grenade from the air to stop a Russian soldier who tried to block the flight.
