The, prepared by the murder of authorities in the 2022 coup plot, used the code name Juca to refer to the former minister (PT) among the targets of the action.
The name of the petista as the focus of the clandestine military operation was confirmed by two people with access to investigations.
An army reserve officer near Mario also told the Sheet that the former minister was seen by the group of military personto of the Planalto Palace at the end of the government (PL), as a possible leader of future management ().
The general’s plan provided for a clandestine military operation against four targets. The first was the minister of the (Supreme Federal Court). The others were identified as Jeca, Joca and Juca.
The codename Jeca was attributed to the then president-elect Lula, while Joca would be the elected vice president (). The name Juca was not formally identified by the investigators.
Throughout the findings, it was considered that Dirceu could be the secret target of the yellow green dagger plane, by the influence exerted by the petista on Lula’s previous managements in the Planalto Palace.
Investigators also raised other names such as possible references to code name Juca, such as Flávio Dino and Rui Costa, today ministers respectively from the STF and the Civil House, and Lula’s chief of staff, Marco Aurélio Ribeiro.
In the investigation report, however, the PF says that “it did not obtain elements to specify who would be the target of the violent action planned by the criminal group.”
Sought, Dirceu stated that he prefers not to comment.
Even with the old relationship with Lula and his influence behind the scenes of the Workers Party, he does not attend the Planalto Palace to discuss government issues and is separated from direct political articulations of petista management.
Despite the departure, military groups believed that he would have a prominent role in the government, as he had in Lula’s first passages for the presidency.
Dirceu, under the codename Juca, was described in the murder plan as “brown imminence [sic] 01 and leaders of the future gov [governo]”.” Its neutralization would dismantle the plans of the most radical left, “he continues.
Mario Fernandes states in the document that he did not expect “great national commotion” with his eventual murder.
The general predicted the poisoning of Lula, the Jeca, to cause an “organic collapse”. The action was described in the plan as sufficient to kill the president -elect, considering the “state of health [de Lula] and the frequent trip to hospitals. “
“Its neutralization would shake the entire winning plate, putting it, depending on the interpretation of the electoral law, or the maneuver conducted by the 3 powers, under the main protection of the PSDB,” says the document found by the Federal Police.
In the case of Alckmin the Joca, the yellow green dagger foresaw that his “neutralization would extinguish the winning plate.” The general evaluated that the murder of the vice president should not cause great commotion in the country either.
Even without being quoted on the plane and without a code name, Moraes is considered by (Attorney General’s Office) as the main target of the yellow green dagger plane.
The complaint considers some elements to confirm the thesis. The first was the fact that Jeca, Joca and Juca were described in the document as “other possible targets” of military action.
The PGR also evaluates that the actions described in the general’s plane are similar to the monitoring done by the military in a clandestine way and that had Moraes as a target.
The main element pointed out by the Attorney’s Office is the purchase of disposable cell phones used in the plan.
Lawyer Marcus Vinicius Figueiredo, who defends Mario Fernandes, told Sheet that would not comment on the case. “I cannot comment on the merits of the investigation because I have not yet been granted access to the full tests,” he said.
In the judgment of the receipt of the complaint, Figueiredo said he guaranteed the STF ministers that the general had not shown the yellow green dagger plan to anyone. According to the lawyer, the defendant made the document and kept him to himself.
PGR disputes this version in the complaint offered against Mario. In the prosecution, Attorney General Paulo Gonet says that then-president Bolsonaro became aware of the plan and endorsed him.
“The plan was designed and brought about to the President of the Republic, who anciated to him, at the time when the Ministry of Defense was released in the contingency of recognizing the lack of election fraud detection.”
PGR’s conclusion that Bolsonaro agreed with the plan goes beyond the interpretation given by the Federal Police in his final investigation report. Investigators say the former president heard from the yellow green dagger, but they do not register a possible opinion or action of Bolsonaro about him.
The PF’s investigation presents as evidence that the plan was presented to Bolsonaro that Mario Fernandes printed the document 40 minutes before going to the Alvorada Palace, the official residence of the Presidency, on November 9, 2022.
There are no records, however, that the document was delivered or presented to Bolsonaro or that the former president agreed with the general’s intentions.
The first class of the Supreme Court received the PGR complaint against Mario Fernandes and five others accused of participating in the coup plot. Now defendants in the Supreme, they respond to criminal action for the attempted coup d’état.
