In most Slovakia, Monday to Tuesday (13.5) may occur in the growing season. This is pointed out by the Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMI), which issued a first level warning. Informs about it on his website.

Alerts apply to almost all regions except for the Nitra region. At a height of five centimeters above the surface, meteorologists expect minus two to minus five degrees Celsius. At the same time, the minimum air temperature zero to minus two degrees Celsius is expected in places at a height of two meters above the earth’s surface. “The expected frost and ground frost can damage vegetation,” recalls SHMI.
