The Public Health Authority (ÚVZ) of the Slovak Republic draws attention to another dangerous product, this time the form of silicone cups from China. The reason is the increased volatile content. TASR informed the ÚVZ SR.
According to tests carried out by the National Reference Laboratory for Materials coming into contact with food at the Regional Public Health Authority based in Poprad, the test sample does not meet the requirements in the volatile content parameter. The limit for volatile substances is 0.5 percent, the laboratory value is 0.779 percent.
The competent public health authorities take measures to withdraw this product from the market in the Slovak Republic, the product will be reported to the rapid warning system for food and feed Rasff. However, the authorities recommend that they do not buy the product, they do not use the product purchased or returned.
