St. Pölten/Vienna-After the flood disaster in September 2024, the “new” western railway line in the Vienna-St section. Pölten closed again with Atzenbrugger and Lainzer Tunnel and Tullnerfeld train station. Repair work and the dismantling of provisionals are pending. Traffic runs again on the “old” connection through the Wienerwald from Monday to June 5th. The journey time into or from the west extends by about 30 minutes.
