PIS/PASEP: Payment for born in May and June starts this Thursday (15)

Workers born in May and June begin to receive, from this Thursday (15), the PIS/Pasep allowance. The benefit is paid to those who had a formal contract and received up to two minimum wages in 2023.

The amount of the allowance varies according to the number of months worked in the reference year, and may reach the ceiling of a minimum wage, currently set at R $ 1,518. In all, the Federal Government provides to pay R $ 30.7 billion to 25.8 million workers in 2025.

The values ​​will be available for withdrawal until December 29th.

How to consult

To verify if you are entitled, the worker must access the Digital Work Card app, go to the “Benefits” tab, select “salary allowance” and click “Payments” to check the amount, date and bank responsible for the deposit.

How to receive

Payment will be made by Caixa Econômica Federal or Banco do Brasil.

Caixa Econômica Federal: Credit in a current account, savings or digital account accessed by Caixa Tem. The withdrawal can also be done in agencies, lotteries and self -service terminals.

BANCO DO BRASIL: PAYMENT FOR CREDIT IN ACCOUNT, PIX, TED or INFECTION AT THE AGENCES.
