There was a tragedy in the disposal of old ammunition army: the explosion killed 13 people

Thirteen people died on Monday in the Indonesian province of West Java in the liquidation of old ammunition. According to Reuters report, TASR reports this.

Of the thirteen victims of the explosion, there were nine civilians and four army members. The exact cause of the explosion is the subject of further investigation. Authorities will check that, How and why civilians were so close to the explosion site. Their aim was supposedly to collect the remnants of metal from ammunition.

The explosion occurred in an area where the army regularly disposes of old ammunition. A similar incident happened in March 2024 in a military warehouse near Jakarta, when a fire in the army complex caused a series of explosions.
