The CBF announced on Monday (12) the arrival of the new coach for the technical command of the Brazilian team: Carlo Ancelotti. The Italian arrives in Brazil after passing through Real Madrid, and will be on the edge of the field in the next two games of the World Cup.
Ancelotti will be the fourth foreign coach in the history of the national team. The last international commander was 60 years ago. Multi -champion, arrives in Brazil after submitting “to the most relevant challenges”, according to Thiago Freitas, Roc Nation Sports Brazil, a sports and entertainment company, which manages the career of athletes around the world.
“A protagonist selection needs to have people around people who live and face protagonists worldwide. It’s not about having a Brazilian or foreign coach, but we have a coach who has undergone the most relevant challenges, and with proofs of being able to overcome them,” explains Freitas.
“Our championship is no longer relevant, economically and technically, at least two decades. The most qualified leave it earlier and earlier, and many do not even dispute the same. Restricting the command of our team to those who only commanded teams in this championship is at least reckless,” concludes Roc Nation Sports Brazil.
For Claudio Fiorito, CEO of P&P Sport Management Brazil, a company that manages the career of athletes: “Brazilian players are seen as the best in the world, so nothing fairer than having a technician of the same level, with luggage in the largest teams on the planet. The arrival of Ancelotti raises the pattern – not only for what he can offer on the pitch, but also for the career experience and learning, which can be gains in various areas.
Carlo Ancelotti
Carlo is one of the most victorious coaches in football, being the greatest champion of the UEFA Champions League, with five titles – three won by Real Madrid and two by Milan. In addition, it belongs to a select group of technicians who also won the competition as a player.
Another remarkable achievement of Ancelotti is to have been national champion in the top five European leagues: he won the Italian Championship with O Real Madrid, the Premier League with Chelsea, the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich and Ligue 1 with Paris Saint-Germain.
