The basic basket registered an increase in April in the Acrean capital, reaching R $ 591.76, a 1.49% growth compared to the previous month. The data are from a survey of the Acre Planning Secretariat (Seplan), which collected information in 54 establishments of 39 neighborhoods of Rio Branco.

The tomato was largely responsible for the discharge, with a significant increase of 25.82%. The chicken also contributed to the elevation, registering up 2.52%. Despite the general increase, 10 of the 14 basic basket items showed prices, highlighting banana (-9.45%), rice (-8.90%) and cassava (-6.14%).
Household cleaning items were also more expensive, totaling R $ 82.22, an increase of 1.16% compared to the previous month. Piaçava broom (4.11%) and soap powder (2.48%) pulled the values up, while the disinfectant (-2.76%) and insecticide (-1.24%) registered fall.
Personal hygiene materials showed stability in the month, with a slight increase of 0.38%, totaling R $ 24.92. This small rise was influenced by toothpaste (2.21%) and the disposable shaver (1.27%), even with the drop in the price of toilet paper (-2.37%).
