The Turkish president said Ankara has intensified its efforts to end the Ukraine-Russia War with the aim of a constant and fair peace and that he had contacted this purpose with the presidents of Russia and Ukraine, Vladimir Putin.
He also said that Turkey strongly supports the truce application and maintains its position that NATO should not be part of this war, stressing that the opportunity for peace should not be lost.
According to a statement from the Turkish Presidency’s communication direction, Tayyip Erdogan said Turkey is attaching its importance to NATO and as an indication, Turkey will again take over the administration of KFOR, NATO Kosovo.
At the meeting were on the Turkish side, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, and President Erdogan’s diplomatic adviser Akif Chagatai Kilits.
