The Civil Police arrested on the morning of Monday (13), in the Saboeiro neighborhood, in Cruzeiro do Sul (AC), a man with 36 portions of marijuana and against whom there was an open arrest warrant by criminal organization. The action was coordinated by delegate Vinicius Almeida, responsible for the investigation.

According to the delegate, the man claimed that the drug, about 60 grams divided into 36 bundles, would be for his own consumption. However, the circumstances of the arrest raised suspicions. “We were able to locate with this subject an amount of 36 bundles of marijuana that were in their possession. According to him, it was for his own consumption, but due to the large amount and the fact that the subject did not have a fixed job, this makes this situation of consumption somewhat suspicious, which is why it was done, in its disadvantage, in addition to the fulfillment of the arrest warrant, the delegate Vinicius Almeida explained.
Also according to the delegate, the arrest warrant had been issued by the Rio Branco Criminal Court, where the suspect is accused of joining a criminal organization. “Yes, there is a sentence there, an arrest warrant made by the Rio Branco Court in his detriment for a crime of criminal organization. He said he was not trafficking, that this large amount with him was for his consumption, but as I said, he is a subject who has no fixed job, claims to do nozzles around the city, and is a large amount of drugs, right? Fixed, it’s somewhat suspicious, ”he said.
The man was sent to the police station and remains available to justice. The Civil Police follows investigations to investigate possible bonds of the suspect with trafficking or with criminal factions in the region.
