Redmond (Washington)-the US software giant Microsoft is cutting several thousand jobs. The cuts are said to meet less than three percent of the workforce, as the company announced. An exact number was not mentioned. At the last verifiable stand from late June 2024, Microsoft had around 228,000 employees, including 126,000 in the United States. Three percent of them would be around 6,800 jobs.
